Alt gegen neu

Leider kommt das Stempeln bei mir momentan etwas zu kurz. Das ist wieder eine "Sonderbestellung" einer Geburtstagkarte mit dem Thema TV. Bestimmt fuer einen aelteren Herrn, der einen Flat screen TV von all seinen Freunden bekommt.
Am Ribbon kann man ziehen und eine Nachricht kommt zum Vorschein.

Format: DIN A5 - damit auch alle Unterschriften Platz drauf haben.

Einladung Maennergeburtstag

endlich wieder was Neues. Mein Computer hatte einen totalen Aussetzer, da ich mir einen Virus runtergeladen hatte.Der "Patient" ist zwar schon wieder wohlauf aber es gibt immer noch einige Dateien, die ich noch nicht oeffnen kann.

Ich hatte wieder einmal eine Auftrag fuer einige Karten.
Infos, die ich hatte:Maennergeburtstag , alle Personen haben am gleichen Tag Geburtstag , Reihenhaus, Ingenieur, Uhrensammler...und das habe ich daraus gemacht.

Als ich letzte Woche in der Stadt war, habe ich in einem Schaufenster eine gepunktete Babydecke gesehen. Als mir dann beim Aufraeumen ein Schnipsel Designer Papier von SU zwischen die Finger kam, musste ich es gleich verwenden.

So ein Elefant macht sich doch immer gut auf einer Babykarte. Was meint Ihr?

Karte zum 40.Geburtstag

Wir sind heute zum 40.Geburtstag eine Freundes eingeladen. Als Geschenk wuenscht er sich Geld fuer Gartenmoebel. Mit dem im Hinterkopf entstand diese Karte.

Der Untergrund ist aus einem Bogen Scrapbook Papier ausgeschnitten . Der Rest ist mit dem Set Backyard BBQ von SU! gestempelt und ausgeschnitten.

Das Rad laesst sich drehen und im ausgepunchten Teil erscheinen Fotos von uns. Die kleinen Gartenzwerge habe ich auf einer anderen Karte ausgeschnitten und dazu gepuzzled.

Verpackt ist das Ganze in einer zurechtgeschnittenen Lunchbag an die ich Henkel gemacht habe.

Wir sind heute zum Mittagessen eingeladen. Ein Arbeitskollege meines Mannes ist Hobbykoch. Da unser Sohn auch sehr gerne kocht , hat er ihn eingeladen mit ihm zu kochen. Wir duerfen dann nur noch geniessen.
Da man natuerlich nicht gerne mit leeren Haenden kommt, habe ich mir gedacht, eine stilvolle Speisekarte waere doch ein nettes Mitbringsel. Und fuer zukuenfteige Menues, kann man einfach ein neues Innenblatt drucken.

Die Anregung fuer diese Karte habe ich mir bei meiner Freundin Ronnie geholt . Danke Ronnie.

Das Format ist A4 zur Haelfte gefaltet. Die benutzten Stempel sind vom Set Voila! SU.
Wie man sieht ist viel ausgeschnitten und zusammengepuzzled. Also nichts fuer "Schneidemuffel".

Natuerlich verdient das Menue 5 yummy Sterne!

Jetzt wird es aber Zeit mich zu richten.

Das Menue ist auf Vellum ausgedruckt und darunter noch ein weisses Blatt mit dem gestempelten Koch.

Geburtstagskarten

Draussen schneit es mal wieder wie toll, endlich ein Grund daheim zu bleiben und zu stempeln.

Ich habe eine Anfrage fuer Geburtstagskarten. Die Karten sollte nicht zu aufwendig sein, da ich evtl. eine groessere Anzahl machen soll. Ausserdem soll das normale Porto ausreichen , das heisst, nicht zu viele Lagen.

Da ich (noch) keine deutschen Textstempel habe, habe ich die Glueckwuensche mit word geschrieben und ausgedruckt.

Ist schon mal eine Auswahl. Ich hoffe, da ist was Passendes dabei.

Diese Karte hat sich meine amerikasche Freundin Keri ausgedacht. Habe sie fast 1:1 uebernommen und mit deutschen Text versehen.

Das Wetter war die Inspiration fuer diese Kreation.
Ich werde bloss den Text noch etwas abaendern.

Goldene Hochzeit

Dies war ebenfalls ein Kundenauftrag zum 50.Hochzeitstag.

Nach Fertigstellung musste ich allerding feststellen, dass ich keinen geeigneten Umschlag fuer dieses Sondermass hatte.

Als Umschlag habe ich dann einen weissen A5 Umschlag umgearbeitet.

Motorradfahrer Geburtstagskarte - Bestellung

Der Auftrag war, fuer einen Motorradfahrer eine groessere Karte zu kreieren.

Da ich keinen passenden Stempel hatte, habe ich mir ein Bild aus dem Internet ausgedruckt.

Der Text wurde einfach mit word geschrieben und ebenfalls ausgedruckt.

Das Motorrad laesst sich hin und her schieben.

Ich hoffe meine Kreationen finden heute Anklang.

Das hier ist aus "Koerperwelten" - falls jemand die Auststellung gesehen hat. Ich war leider nicht da, aber so aehnlich stelle ich es mir vor.
This is a sample from Gunther von Hagens excibition "bodyworlds" - I didn't go when it was in Detroit , but I imagine something like this.
Rezept:
Recipie:
Frischkaesemix mit rohen Schinken belegt und mit Oliven und Mandelstiften dekoriert.
Cream cheese ,shape it like a skull and cover it with thin slices of bacon, olives , almonds

Das naechste sind Augaepfel. Sehen sie nicht lecker aus? Naja, eigentlich Litschis mit Marmelade gefuellt und eine Traube reingedrueckt.

Eyeballs are made from litschis filled with marmelade, I put small blue crapes inside - or blueberries are fine too.

... nur paar Wuermer...
and some earthwormes..

und dann gibt es noch Mud pie (Schlammkuchen) mit Regenwuermern zum Nachtisch.

Darunter verbirgt sich Schokoladenpudding,Schlagsahne,braune Kekse/Kekskruemel und Gummiwuermer.

mud pie (dessert) - chocolate pudding, whipped cream ,on top cookie crumbs , some worms and tomb stones

Hoffentlich kommen die Freundinnen meiner Tochter auch vorbei.

Quinceanera cards

A friend of mine ask me to design a card for her daughter. She turns 15. A very important day in the life of an mexican girl. Her dress is going to be yellow . I made 5 different cards to choose from .I hope there is one she likes. The "M" stands for Marbella.

The one and only card I made lately was a card using this photo. I taped it on cardstock and sent it to a friend.

Last week I was finally able to get internet and telefon connection . The container have arrived and the boxes are getting less day by day. My stamp room or my future stamp room looks the worst. Each box the mover didn't know where to put - they grinned and said ---> stamp room.

I think they were to lazy to go upstairs and drag the boxes in the attic .

Now , I have to do the job!

The other project we started was our patio. Almost done now. We ran out of bricks.

I hope one day I will be able to enjoy stamping. I miss my princess days at Chris' house.

I am moving !

A little something for you gift box

This little box is pretty easy to make.

Material :
three 1/4 sheets of SU whisper white CS.
two 1/4 sheets of SU baja breeze CS and ink
SU Top note die
SAB set Yummy
Baroque motifs
flower brad
adhesive
How to make it:
score all 4 sides of the white CS 1 inch.
cut 1 inch at the corners of the longer sides along the score line (4cuts)
fold all 4 sides up and glue it together.

Score all four sides of your second piece of CS slightly bigger (1 1/16") - this makes the lid.
The rest same as above.

Cut two colored pieces and one white piece of CS with your top note die.
Decorate and glue it together.

Princess day tomorrow

Tomorrow is our weekly demonstrator group get together.
We call it "princess day" :-)
Just a little escape , chitchatting and playing with our stamps...
This is a new image from stamp set I ordered called "Branch out". I love trees!
I already pre stamped my tree and used the Martha Stewart Butterfly punch to add dimension . Now I have to assemble my card and I'm ready to go.

I used the score pal , the new SU punch heart to heart and
the SU stamp set "a happy heart".

I used my scorpal and the new SU heart punch. I good way to use some DS paper scraps.

Here are some of this weeks cards I would like to share.

This card was made by Michelle using the SU set "Always". If you don't have this set yet.
It's a must have. One of my favorite stamp sets.

This is the card I made . I used Candy lane DS paper, red riding hood CS, the scallop punch, circle punch, pink pirouette ribbon and the SU set "love you much". I did cut all the little hearts by hand. ( and my new heart to heart punch was sitting right in front of me , duh) So don't make the same mistake - use your punch instead!

This beautiful card made Ronnie for us. She used the SU sets " Frames with a flourish" and
"A happy heart". She used her stamp - a - magic to make sure the frames are stamped straight.

Wednesday - Playday

I belong to a wonderful group of demostrators.
We get together every Wednesday to do some stamping, share our stamp sets and ideas.

Chris made this card. I love how she used the Top Note die.
She die cut her DS paper turned it 90 degrees and die cut it again.
Think outside the box!

Chris also made two cards with a new set called "Game Night".
You'll find this set on page 109 in the new SU Idea Book and Catalog.

This monochromatic cards is made with a cuttle bug template and a sizzix snowflake die.

Tutorial pumpkin

I am so glad to have so many talented demonstrators as friends.
When I came over to Michelles house Thursday, she had those nice pumpkins sitting on her table. A perfect decoration for Halloween , Thanksgiving ... and so easy to make.

I can't wait to share this wonderful idea .

Here is a step by step tutorial.

You will need :
- cardsstock only orange or pumpkin pie (SU)
- cardstock always artichoke ( SU)
- circle punch 1 3/4 " (SU)
- 5 petal flower (SU)
- thread or wool...
- scissors

- punch 11 circles out of you orange CS

- fold 10 circles in half and leave one for the center

- take your scissors and cut a slit about half way through your 10 folded circles

- take your 10 circles with the slit and slide it onto your center circle and spread them out evenly

- take your 5-petal punch and punch two petals out of your cardstock

- glue the two petals on top of each other and use thread or wool for the little stem.

Done! How easy is that!
Option : put a small peanut butter cup inside and you will have sweet surprise for your guests .

Indian summer in Michigan

I love fall. I love all the colors .
I went to the park last week and took some pictures.
This was the inspiration for the card I made with the set "Upsy daisy".
I used a Kaleidocolor stamp pad autumn leaves and brayered the ink on my stamp.
I like how it turned out. Simple and clean.
